Andrea Prestinario put on an incredible evening of tunes by the amazing Smokey Robinson. Jeremy had the honor of singing with her on a wonderful arrangement of "Hold On Me/Bring It To Me" put together by Ian Weinberger.

DISCOUNT GHOST STORIES @ Joe's Pub, January 23rd 7 pm

Using original lyrics and repurposed historical texts, Alexander Sage Oyen and Jessica Kahkoska brought the story of Clifford Griffin (real person!) to life in concert with their band of ghosts at Joe's Pub. Jeremy got to play their whipping boy of a band manager named Hubert Hubert. 

2016

ONE HIT WONDER reading, Dec 16th presentation

Jeremy Desmon has written a book musical surrounding some of the greatest One Hit Wonders of the past 30 years. Featuring hits such as "Venus" and "Mercy" and "Gonna Give You Hell" with direction by Hunter Foster. Produced by the Araca Group.

Jeremy will be reprising his role of "The Hick" at the 11 pm shows of the 9th Annual Joe Iconis Christmas Extravaganza. A cast of 70, all of your favorite Christmas tunes, Joe Iconis as himself, Annie Golden as an angel? Who could ask for anything more!

THE OLIVER EXPERIMENT table read, Nov 7th

Jeff Thompson and Jeremy Desmon have written the equivalent of a "Truman Show" musical in The Oliver Experiment. This Jeremy played a series of characters in the ensemble!

JOE ICONIS HALLOWEEN SHOW @ The Laurie Beechman, Halloween! 7 pm

Jeremy has reprised his role as the Skeleton in this year's Joe Iconis Halloween show. It was a spooky evening of candy, song, and whiskey!

OUTLAWS the musical @ Le Poisson Rouge, October 24th, 7 & 9:30 pm

Jeremy played Jim Younger in this rock musical tale about Jesse James and his gang of outlaws. Featuring a score and book by Alexander Sage Oyen and James Presson. The reading starred the likes of Constantine Maroulis, Kacie Sheik, Alison Fraser, Eric William Morris, and more. 

BOUND FOR BROADWAY @ the Kaufman Music Center, Sept 26th, 7:30 pm

Hosted by Liz Callaway, this annual concert features select songs from new musicals by several up-and-coming creative teams. Jeremy will be singing from Andrea Daly and Jeff Bienstock's Legendale

BROADWAY'S FUTURE SONGBOOK - THE SONGS OF WILL ARONSON, Sept 26th, 6 pm

Taking on the role of Harry Houdini, Jeremy is honored to be part of this developmental concert version of Ragtime on Ellis Island. Featuring a cast of Laura Michelle Kelly, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Brandon Victor Dixon, Robert Petkoff, Georgia Engel, Aisha Jackson and many more, a 12 piece orchestra led by the music direction of Madeline Smith, and an amazing team led by the direction of Sammi Cannold and presenting producer Suzanne Friedman. The Music and Lyrics of Drew Gasparini

Drew Gasparini made his return to 54 Below by premiering music from several of his new projects including his latest collaboration with Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman called The Whipping Boy. Jeremy sang a lovely duet from The Whipping Boy with the immensely talented Will Roland.

Jeremy got to be a part of a reading of this dark and spookily funny little musical produced by Stephanie Cowan and Triptyk Studios, directed by Sam Buntrock, musical direction by Steven Lutvak. Written by Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor.

Produced by Jennifer Ashley Tepper this concert version of String is a part of this series at 54 to promote ten new and diverse musicals from a selection of today’s most talented writers. Jeremy joins this all-star cast which includes Nikki M. James, Jose Llana, Katie Thompson, Pearl Sun, and more.

Will Aronson and Sarah Hammond will be presenting an evening of their music at Ars Nova as a part of the theatre’s Uncharted festival. Jeremy will be singing songs from their new musical in development, Wind-Up Girl, which explores the story of Rene Descartes and his mechanical daughter. Directed by Ashley Rodbro!

The 8th Annual Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular @ 54 Below, Dec 19th and 20th, 7 and 9 pm

Jeremy joins Joe Iconis in his 8th annual Xmas Spectacular where he and fifty of his merry munchkin performers take over 54 Below for two nights of raucous egg-nogging and yule-tiding!

WRINGER: A New Musical, Workshop through New York City Children’s Theatre, Nov 25th

Written by Rebekah Melocik and Jacob Yandura, with direction from Stephen Brackett, the NYC Children’s Theatre is developing this new children’s musical Wringer. The show is based off the novel of the same name, where the story centers around a town that has an annual pigeon killing. Jeremy will be playing the part of 10-year old Mutto...who is an aspiring pigeon hunter.

INTO THE WOODS @ North Carolina Theatre, October 2015

Before Jeremy became an old man, he finally got to play the role of Jack in Into The Woods at NCT! Directed by James Brennan.

WAITRESS @ American Repertory Theatre, June-Sept 2015

Jeremy had the amazing opportunity to originate the role of Ogie in the World Premiere of Waitress with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson. Directed by Diane Paulus, Choreographed by Chase Brock, Music Supervision by Nadia Digiallonardo.

EIGHTY-SIXED Reading at Second Stage, May 15th and 18th @ 12 pm

A New Musical by Sam Salmond and Jeremy King based off of the book Eighty-Sixed which is about the AIDS crisis in the 1980’s following the story of BJ Rosenthal. Produced by Second Stage Theatre and Aaron Glick alongside Hal Prince’s T Fellowship. Directed by Kevin Newbury with music direction by Salomon Lerner. This show is absolutely gorgeous and there was a stellar cast featuring Adam Chanler-Berat, Jason Tam, Adam Kantor, Robin DeJesus, Dee Roscioli, Matt Shingledecker and others.

BOLIN SCHMOLIN: The Songs of Eli Bolin at 54 Below, May 1st @ 9:30 pm

Jeremy will be singing a tune by the insanely talented Eli Bolin in his concert at 54 Below on May 1st. The concert is going to be very serious #phoneybaloney and there is no laughter allowed #ireallyhopepeoplelaugh. The evening is directed by Laura Pietropinto and produced by Erica Rotstein

BROADWAY BY THE YEAR 1941-1965: March 30th, 8 pm @ Town Hall

Scott Siegel produces this yearly series which has now entered its 15th year! Jeremy will be singing a tune from the 1961 musical How To Succeed In Business.

THE OLIVER EXPERIMENT by Jeremy Desmon and Jeff Thomson, March 27th Reading

Jeremy Desmon and Jeff Thompson have written a very cool show called The Oliver Experiment. Mr. Morse will be playing a variety of character parts and will do his best to make people laugh at his use of outrageous accents. Direction by David Elliot and music direction by Dan Pardo.

Scott Siegel and Maxine Linehan produce this benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at Birdland on March 16th. Jeremy will be singing a couple of tunes!

Broadway World Cabaret Awards, February 23rd 6:30-8:30 pm

Jeremy will be singing the tunes of Joe Iconis at this year’s Broadway World Cabaret Awards.

BROOKLYN SOUND: Episode 1, Josiah and the Teeth, February 15th

Julia Mattison has written some hilarious material for a web series titled BROOKLYN SOUND, in which she is also starring. Jeremy was a part of the pilot episode and played the character Corn who is a member of the band Josiah and the Teeth. Jeremy sported a chin beard and yellow teeth.

UNCHARTED Launch Concert @ Ars Nova - February 13th, 8 pm

Will Aronson has been selected as one of Ars Nova’s 2015-2016 writers-in-residence and to celebrate the start of his collaboration with Ars and Will’s writing partner Sarah Hammond, they did a set of his work at the Uncharted Launch Concert. Jeremy sang Will’s tune “Word for Word” from The Trouble With Doug alongside Michael Winther.

A-Sides the songs of Anna Jacobs @ The Laurie Beechman: Monday, February 9th at 9:30 pm

The wonderful composer/lyricist/playwright Anna K. Jacobs will be presenting an evening of her work at the Walter Bruno Auditorium at Lincoln Center/NYPL. Jeremy will be singing some of her tunes! Wahoo!

NIKOLA TESLA DROPS THE BEAT @ MTF: Saturday, February 7th at 8 pm

Benjamin Halstead and Nikko Benson are presenting the first act of their new show about the life and inventions of Nikla Tesla at the Musical Theatre Factory. Jeremy will be reading and singing the role of Nikla Tesla.

Jeremy is taking part in a reading of a new show written by Scotty Arnold, concept by Jessica Redish, featuring songs and scenes from Allegro, music by Richard Rodgers with book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The show will be featured at the Ravinia festival outside Chicago this summer.

For the 7th consecutive year, Joe Iconis brought his joyous Xmas Spectacular to NYC audiences. About 50 actors, actresses, and musicians descended upon 54 Below to make this magic happen. It is...well...truly spectacular.

MEN WITH MONEY at 4x15 Musicals @ MTF: Dec 15th, 8 pm at Musical Theatre Factory

Jeremy will be a part of Bill Nelson and Joseph Trefler’s 15 minute presentation of their new musical Men With Money at the Musical Theatre Factory’s next installment of 4x15 Musicals on December 15th. Directed by Joe Barros!

SKIPPYJON JONES 2: SNOW WHAT!?! with Theatreworks USA, Dec 15th

Jeremy will be taking on the roles of Mama Junebug, the Wicked Bruja, and Ernesto the Chihuahua in this workshop of Kevin Del Aguila and Eli Bolin’s new show for Theatreworks USA. Directed by Kevin Del Aguila, Choreography by Joe Barros and Music Direction by Dan Pardo.

HUNTER S. THOMPSON Reading through La Jolla Playhouse

La Jolla Playhouse is producing a reading in NYC of a new musical by Joe Iconis and Greg Moss based on the life of Hunter S. Thompson. Jeremy is playing various roles including Ralph Steadman, Richard Nixon, A Lizard in A Tuxedo and many more. Directed by Christopher Ashley.

BEFORE I GO: Daniel Maté Says Goodbye In Concert, Tuesday Dec 9th 7 pm @ Don’t Tell Mama

The insanely talented Daniel Maté is heading out to live on the beautiful west coast, but before he leaves he’s putting on a couple of concerts at Don’t Tell Mama with his pals. Jeremy is one of those pals and will be singing at the Dec 9th concert. Woo hoo!

Jeremy will be singing some brand spankin’ new songs by Julia Meinwald and Gordon Leary from their new show Something Blue at the New York Theatre Barn on November 17th.

Prospect Theatre Co’s THE UNDERCLASSMAN @ The Duke on 42nd St: Nov 9th - 30th

Jeremy will be playing the role of Hamilton Samuels in Prospect Theatre Company’s production of THE UNDERCLASSMAN at the Duke Theatre on 42nd St. This is a story inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald in his college years, his love for Ginevra King, and the antics of the Princeton Triangle Club. Jeremy will be performing in a couple of spooky concerts on this year’s Hallow’s Eve at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The first is Monstersongs featuring the songs of Rob Rokicki, then after that is the annual Joe Iconis Spooktacular where Jeremy will be reprising his role as a skeleton.

Jeremy will be a part of this fun little NAMT event and sing on a song by Michael Mahler and Aaron Thielen from their new musical October Sky. Directed by Branden Huldeen.

In a concert series that is conceived, produced and organized by Bill Coyne that pairs composers/lyricists with performers, Jeremy will be singing a new song written by Adam Overett and Aron Accurso.

The Musical Theatre Factory performed “In New York” for a group of fancy Mayoral onlookers at the .NYC launch event at the Flatiron Plaza on 23rd Street by Madison Square Park. There was free pudding.

THE SONGWRITER SALON @ The Celebrity Club in Times Square, October 2nd, 7:30 pm

This awesome little event features five writers/writing teams and gives them 15 minutes to debut their material in any way they like. Jeremy got the chance to sing the tunes of Sam Salmond and premiere some of his new music from his newest show 86-ed with Eric William Morris. 

MUSIC FOR AUTISM Concert on September 21st

Joe Iconis and Family will be playing a concert for this amazing foundation which enhances the quality of life and raises public awareness through autism-friendly interactive concerts for individuals with autism and their families. I am so excited to be a part of such a great program and to perform for such a great audience :)

LITTLE BITTERS by David Alan Thornton @ Galway Pub: September 15th, 6 pm

This original musical by David Alan Thornton is getting a fun little reading at Galway Pub. The cast includes the indefatigable Bill Coyne, the illustrious Lauren Marcus, and many more. Directed by Celine Rosenthal. Jeremy will be playing the “up-by-his-bootstraps romantic” role of Mikey.

In 2012 there was a concert where DAT wrote a 10 minute musical about a Tiny Hippo. Jeremy will be reprising his role as the Tiny Hippo in this late night musical extravaganza at 54 Below.

Joe Iconis and his motley crew are playing at this awesome benefit where this cool dude called the Bearded Yogi is presenting a weekend of transformational yoga to celebrate the meaning of karma yoga/selfless giving. Jeremy played the role of Tresham at Justin Levine’s Bonfire Night at the 2012 NAMT festival. Directed by Sam Buntrock, with music direction by Kim Grigsby, this show is badass. Cast included Andre DeShields, Chester Gregory, Wade McCollum, Chris Hoch, and other musical theatre rockstars.

MY FAIR LADY @ The John W. Engeman Theatre: Sep 16 - Oct 31 2010

Jeremy appeared as Harry in the John W. Engeman Theatre’s summer production of My Fair Lady, running from September 16th to October 31st. Located in Northport, Long Island, Jeremy is very excited to be back at the Engeman and to be a part of such an amazing show!

Joe Iconis Halloween Spectacular II: Oct 31, 9:30 pm @ The Laurie Beechman

Jeremy was delighted to play in this year’s Iconis Hallow’s Eve Spectacular. Joe wrote a new song called “My Best Friend The Skeleton” and Jeremy happily dressed the part while singing and shaking opposite of a jolly Eric William Morris who was dolled up in a Captain Crunch outfit.

Nightfall Reading - By Caleb Hoyer: August

Caleb Hoyer has written a new amazing musical called Nightfall which Jeremy was incredibly lucky of which to be part. He read the fun character role of Jack, the King’s Steward and participated in the reading and recording session in August of 2010.

The Joe Iconis Rock’n’roll Jamboree: Aug 9, 16, 23, and 30 @ The Laurie Beechman

The music and lyrics of Mr. Iconis performed by his Jambo crew at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. DAMN YANKEES @ The John W. Engeman Theatre: July 8 - August 28

Jeremy is just appeared as Rocky in the John W. Engeman Theatre’s summer production of Damn Yankees, running from July 8th to August 29th. Located in Northport, Long Island, Jeremy was very excited to make his Engeman debut and to do a show that has to do with baseball. Go Phillies!

2010 Drama Desk Nominations:  May 23rd

The Drama Desk Nominations were announced and Bloodsong received 3 nominations! Joe Iconis received a nomination for Best Book of a Musical and Best Score of a musical, and I was nominated for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical. Crazy times! Go Bloodsong!

Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular II: Dec 2009

Jeremy was blessed by St. Nick and Mr. Joe Iconis AGAIN with the honor of portraying Lance’s father in the ‘09 Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular at Ars Nova. December 5th and 6th at 8 PM and a new performance on Dec 5th at 11 PM! Woo!

Bloodsong of Love/Untitled Spaghetti Western Readings: Oct 09, July 09, Mar 09

In 2009, three workshops of Bloodsong of Love occurred at Ars Nova. The show went from a story about a family band to a full blown Spaghetti Western. Jeremy took on the roles of Lo Cocodrilo (villain extraordinaire) and Hick-in-Overalls (self explanatory...) in these awesomely fun 29-hour readings.

Halstead Property - Real Estate Agent Extraordinaire: June 09

Jeremy took the plunge and got his Real Estate License for the State of NY, joining the amazing firm, Halstead Property, LLC. Sooooo, if you need to find an apartment, or know of anyone looking to buy, rent, sell, or lease out, I would greatly appreciate if you send them my way!

QUEEN ESTHER: THE MUSICAL: March 09 @ The Kaufman Center

The Poppyseed Players and The Kaufman Center presented the musical, “Queen Esther” by Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham, writers of the hit show, “I Love You Because.” Jeremy portrayed a young, King Achashverosh in this musical about Purim and a King and Queen’s coming of age.

Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular: Dec 08 @ Ars Nova

Jeremy was blessed by St. Nick and Mr. Joe Iconis with the honor of portraying Lance’s father in the 2008 Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular at Ars Nova. It turned out to be a delightful evening of debaucheries, fun, and holiday spirit.

THE PLANT THAT ATE DIRTY SOCKS: Sept - Dec 08, 1st National Tour

Presented by Theatreworks USA, Jeremy was part of the 1st National Tour of “The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks,” written by Joe Iconis. He played the nerdy, neatnik character of Norman and entertained countless 4th graders across the northeast and midwest.

MY FAIR LADY: Aug - Sept 08 @ the Ogunquit Playhouse

Jeremy made his Ogunquit Playhouse debut as a jolly lil’ cockney in Lerner and Loewe’s “My Fair Lady.” Starring Jefferson Mays as Higgens, with Tim Jerome, Conrad John Schuck, Nancy Dussault, and Gail Bennett. Directed by Shaun Kerrison and choreographed by Jen Werner, this production was nominated for 6 IRNE awards.

THE BLACK SUITS: July 08 @ The Public Theatre (SPF)

The Summer Play Festival at the Public Theatre presented their first musical, “The Black Suits,” written by Joe Iconis, directed by John Simpkins, and with choreography by Jen Werner. The cast featured stars Jason Tam, Nick Blaemire, Annie Golden, Krysta Rodgriguez, and more! Jeremy was Assistant Director on the production.

NYU Graduation: May 08

Jeremy graduated from the NYU Steinhardt Program in Vocal Performance - Music Theatre in May of 2008. He performed at Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden for various graduation ceremonies.
